Bayan Founas teaches high school English in Detroit and is a Citywide Poets site leader. She has two self-published books of poems - Diary of a Daughter in Diaspora (2018) and HERE TO STAY: The Literary Mixtape (2021), which is also a spoken word album on streaming platforms.
